International Women’s Community

The community seeks to provide a networking and empowering community for all female colleagues. It has been designed to open up space to learn from each other and to create relationships that help them to improve as professionals. It is also an opportunity to encourage and improve workplace mobility, and to empower and recognise women as the leaders and subject matter experts of today and the future.

This fantastic initiative was the brainchild of Daniela Villegas, Relationship Manager, Lease UK, who said, “Connecting and supporting each other as women is the most powerful tool we have to grow and develop within this business. Even more today, where remote working has become the norm, meeting new people and interacting with each other in meaningful ways have become so much more challenging. We hope this community will enable our female colleagues to participate in different events, get recognised and ask any questions they may have judgement free and in a fully supportive environment.”

The International Women’s Community will provide an open forum, where its members will design initiatives throughout the countries which will help them to be seen, heard and appreciated for their contribution to our growing organisation.

The launch of the community has been designed to align with International Women’s Day 2022. This year’s theme is #BreakTheBias - a global campaign which encourages diversity, inclusion and equality for all.
