New Appointment: Simon Macleod, Head of Sales, Mid-Market

We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Macleod to a newly created role of Head of Sales, Mid-Market at ABN AMRO Commercial Finance. Simon will be leading the rapidly expanding mid-market team, reporting to the Head of Sales & Origination, Jeremy Harrison.

Simon joins ABN AMRO from AON Trade Credit Insurance Brokers, where he was Head of National Sales and previously worked at Santander as Divisional Director Trade and Working Capital.  His background in business development and sales leadership comes from over 30 years’ experience in corporate and commercial banking at HSBC, NAB, Barclays, Santander and NWB/RBS.  

Simon has specialised in working capital finance - ABL, International Trade and Supplier Finance, Stock Funding Solutions and Foreign Exchange – working both in the U.K. and overseas, predominantly in the Far East, as a Trade Finance trainer in China, Singapore and Indonesia.
